Manager

Henry has experience both in organization and project management. When he was a manager of the Strategic Services Team (reporting directly to a Vice-President), Henry helped define and implement a new E-business strategy for Deloitte Consulting/DRT Systems.

Security Architect

Henry’s experience in Enterprise Security Architecture has evolved from his Technical Architecture work and from security work done as part of other projects. His Security Architectures are made to be extensions of his client’s existing Technical Architectures resulting in recommendations that are easily integrated into existing environments. Henry has helped a major Canadian Insurance Company define a new Security Architecture that meets their evolving business needs as they rapidly expand their Web-base offerings.

Technical Architect

Henry has extensive experience developing Technical Architectures, both at the application and Enterprise levels. His ability to demonstrate how technology solutions address specific business problems means that his architectures have relevance to business as well as IT stakeholders, and often are shared with a much larger audience than was originally intended. Mr Baragar also leverages his architecture experience to do performance analyses and has helped organizations identify and correct performance problems in complex business-critical applications.

Oracle DBA

Henry is a capable Oracle system-level DBA. He has extensive experience in the installation, disaster recovery and system tuning of Oracle databases. His Unix and network experiences contribute to his ability to solve almost any client-server performance or configuration problem that involves Oracle technology.

Unix Administrator

Henry has extensive and detailed knowledge of Unix that dates back to 1987. He has experience with most brands of Unix, as both a developer and an administrator. He has developed numerous tools (for both Unix & application administration) using the Korn shell, AWK and Perl.

Systems Analyst & Programmer

Henry is fluent in many programming languages, which allows him to select the language most appropriate to the problem rather than trying to solve all problems using the same tool. He has a reputation as a wizard for solving programming problems where others have failed. Consequently, Henry still does some programming, usually in the area of system integration and data conversion.
