Gail E. Harris: Object Oriented Analyst and Component Development

Gail first started using object-oriented technology in 1986, before it came into vogue. Since then she has developed and managed development of numerous systems and mentored others in learning this technology. Gail is experienced with the various OO methodologies including UML, with various OO languages like C++, Smalltalk and Java, and with the more recent evolution toward component technologies like COM, .NET, and J2EE.

Gail accepted the invitation to be the Conference Chair for the Object-Oriented Programming, Systems, Languages, and Applications conference OOPSLA 2008
