2008	Conference Chair for OOPSLA 2008. Before being invited as the 2008 Conference Chair, Gail held various committee roles including DesignFest chair (2002, 2003), Practitioner Reports Chair (2004), Communications Chair (2005) and Advertising Chair (2007).
2002	Project Manager for several core IT development projects at a prestigious Human Resource Consulting firm. Successfully managed the development of this company's first secure, interactive web site for defined contribution plans, which led to its implementation for five other customers. Successfully managed the conversion of their flexible benefits administration system for a major Canadian bank, from a mainframe environment to a modern, multi-tier Web-enabled solution, which provided a flagship implementation on which to grow this line of business.
2001	Organizer and problem author for DesignFest at the Object Oriented Programming, Systems, Languages and Applications (OOPSLA) 2001 conference.
November 1999	Joined Instantiated Software as a Principal
September 1999	Completed Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
July 1999	Designated Senior Consultant when CGI acquired Deloitte Consulting/DRT Systems
